FutureMark's PCMark 7 Pro has a useful storage benchmark. It tests read and write patterns of commonly used functions that computer users will encounter regularly. While most of the other tests show the raw performance of the drives, PCMark helps to translate that performance into how it will affect daily functions.  Performance of the Force Series GT was very close to that of it's bigger 240GB brothers with the SF-2281 controller and synchronous NAND.  It was slightly behind in most of the tests, but the differences were so small that they would be unnoticeable by most users.  The Force GT actually ended up coming in as the second fastest single drive for the Importing Pictures test.

The Force Series GT performs as expected in our file copy test.  It does very well when working with small file sizes, coming in as the second fastest single drive and beating most of the other eight channel drives.  As file sizes increase, the six channels become a bottleneck and the drive falls back.
