Testing Results
With both Antec's Signature 850w and Thermaltake's Toughpower 1000w power supplies having an 80Plus Bronze certification, it's no surprise that the power usage between the two units are similar. Cooler Master's UCP 900w with its 80Plus Silver certification easily won this round with approximately 30w less in power consumption.

All of the power supplies were rock solid with voltage regulation. Voltages were stable all around with minimal fluctuations in comparing idle and load situations.

With the maximum noise allowable on the 3.3v and 5v lines as 50mv and 120mv for the 12v lines, the three power supplies were under the limits with a good amount of margin. Antec's Signature unit was the obvious winner in this test, with barely any noise on any voltage line. Both the Cooler Master and Thermaltake units also did well, with measured noise coming in at less than 50% of the maximum limit values.
